This is where you can create your own custom KeyLok rail cover. KeyLok covers fit both KeyMod and M-LOK rail systems. Custom rail covers can take 4 weeks depending on demand and season. The size of this cover is 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" or 35mm x 70mm. If there are any questions on our end or a cover cannot be made with your submitted artwork we will contact you within 2 business days. Uploaded images work best in VECTOR. They do not have to be vector but the better the image the better the results will be on the cover. It MUST be a great resolution image to look good. We work closely with Custom Gun Rails, Inc. and place large bulk orders regularly. We wanted to provide this service to our customers to get the best pricing and fastest turnaround time possible.
The different methods of creating your rail cover include:
-Laser Engraved Aluminum. Your submitted image must be very good resolution to produce a good looking cover. Typically we can have it finished and ready to ship back to you in 7-14 days. There are instances occasionally where it may take longer. Please be patient as we will get it back as fast as humanly possible. Laser Engraving will produce a black and white image logo like the one pictured above with our AR Customs logo on it.
-Custom Text. We can order custom text covers as well. Upload an image of the text youd like or take a photo of a saying or quote. Either way we will be able to determine what you're after and will contact you to confirm. Custom text covers can be subject to additional fee if we have to create a photoshop text file. Usually $10-$20 depending on specifics. We will contact you to discuss and confirm.
They are secured on your rail using two side tension screws that apply pressure to two locking tabs (we throw in an allen wrench with every order). There is absolutely no metal to metal contact. This prevents heat transference and damage to the rail. The large LEA’s measure 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" (35mm x 70mm) and weigh about 17 grams (that’s about as much as three nickels). The turn-around time for me was about 3 weeks. I should have read the detailed description: it's ONLY BLACK & WHITE. Don't bother sending them colored images. It's an etched aluminum image on a black background.
